 Otto Environmental Systems US Headquarters
Otto introduced its injection molded containers in the U.S. market in 1983. In 1988 Otto invested $40 million in a new North American production facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, to meet product demand. Otto in 1992 began producing cart lifters to better meet the automated collection service needs of its customers. As a result of customer demand, Otto expanded its Charlotte facility twice, and opened its second manufacturing plant in Eloy, Arizona, in 2002 to improve lead times, enhance distribution and better control freight costs. Otto now offers the broadest selection of waste collection products and services of all U.S. manufacturers.
Otto’s leadership in the U.S. market is demonstrated by customers that choose the brand for waste and recycling collection programs nationwide. Cities and waste haulers ranging from large national scope to localized service, use Otto containers for their waste and recycling streams collection.
