Dump Angle & Elevated Dump Design

• Lifts carts to a steep 150° dump angle with top edge to cart more than 40" above ground. Speeds dumping of cart's contents to increase productivity.
• Handles all major brands of "domestic" (two bar) curbside two wheeled carts.
• Cart tippers and collection vehicle parking blade can operate simultaneously.

Cushioned Cylinder

• Slows machine at both top and bottom of lift (last 15 of rotation) to reduce cart abuse.
• Recommended cycle time of 6-1/2 to 7 seconds increases productivity by allowing more stops per hour.
• Upper rod end mounts with spherical bearing. Field replaceable without cutting or welding.
• Easily lifts and dumps up to 350 lb. load at 1000 psi, 3.5 g.p.m flow.

Construction

Easy to maintain hydraulic cylinder with 6" stroke and 1-1/4" hardened chrome cylinder rod. All-welded 3/16" steel faceplate, reinforced with 1/4" & 3/16" bracing and 5/8" x 2" pivot arms. Main frame is 1/2" steel plate uprights with welded reinforcements and welded crossmembers. Lower latching mechanism reliably releases cart and fully retracts into faceplate as cart lowers. Maintains 15 1/4" (maximum) spacing between cart hanger and latch point. Never needs adjustment.

Teflon™ spherical bearings at major pivot point, actuator and cylinder rods ends, never need grease and are replaceable by simply pressing out the old and pressing in the new.

Extreme Dump Angle & Quickest Cycle Time Empties Carts More Rapidly

A 150° dumping angle reduces need to shake cart to empty contents, which saves wear on carts. Otto lifters empties carts completely, more quickly. Industry's shortest cycle time (factory recommended setting of 6-1/2 - 7 seconds) to lift and lower carts more quickly. Reduces time on routes.

Installations Provide Excellent Ground Clearance

Typical installations provide as much as 17" of ground clearance. Eliminates difficulties with uneven surfaces and crowned roads on collection routes.
