Kirsti Nelson Receives WASTEC Member of the Year Award

Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc. would like to congratulate Kirsti Nelson, Director of Sales - Republic Services Account, on being named Member of the Year by the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC).

WASTEC is a non-profit trade association representing technology and equipment manufacturers and distributors in the waste and recycling industry. Kirsti received the honor at their national awards ceremony recently in New Orleans.

Otto Granted Patent License for RFID-Based Refuse Container Collection

Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc. has been granted a non-exclusive license related to a portfolio of patents directed to radio frequency identification (RFID)-based refuse container interrogation and collection by inventor and entrepreneur LeRoy G. Hagenbuch.

Otto currently is the only party in the United States that is authorized to sell fully automated RFID truck systems, such as its Res-CT System, under these patents.

Upcoming Expansion in Charlotte!

Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc. will invest more than $7 million over the next three years into its Charlotte facility, resulting in the creation of 32 jobs. City grants to assist in the expansion were awarded due to the hard work across several teams in the organization, led by CFO, Diana Thomas.
